TOO MUCH WIND AND JET LAG FOR ME…WE ACTUALLY ORDERED PIZZA DELIVERY WE WERE SO TIRED LAST NITE

 

ME AFTER TOO MUCH TIME ON TABLE MOUNTAIN AND THE PLANE

 

WHEN I SAW THESE I HAD TO HAVE THEM.  THEY ARE CAPE  BUFFALO HORN BEADS…A BY PRODUCT OF CAPTIVE RAISED  ANIMALS (LIKE CATTLE)  THE GRAIN IS ALMOST LIKE WOOD ON THE BIG ONE

WE WERE HOPING THIS LITTLE BOY DIDN’T BREAK HIS LEG..HE WAS A DARE DEVIL JUMPING FROM ROCK TO ROCK ON THE MOUNTAIN

I HAVE MORE THAN A FEW FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS WHO WILL ENJOY THESE RED FLOWERS…..SUSAN….YOU MUST KNOW WHAT THEY ARE. WE ARE GOING TO A WONDERFUL BOTANICAL GARDEN WHILE WE ARE HERE EVEN THO IT IS WINTER IN SA. SOUNDS LIKE A LOT OF THINGS ARE STILL IN BLOOM

WE ARE STAYING IN A FANTASTIC 3 ROOM BED AND BREAKFAST APARTMENT IN CAPETOWN. THIS IS THE VIEW FROM OUR BALCONY INTO SOMEONES COURTYARD. THE CARETAKERS SERVED US A FANTASTIC BREAKFAST THIS MORNING AND HAVE BEEN SO HELPFUL.

 

WE RENTED A CAR AND GOT UPGRADED TO A MERCADES..oHHHHHHHHHHHHH I AM A NERVOUS WRECK WATCHING STEVE DRIVING DOWN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD……DIANA….QUIT LAUGHING……………………YOU CAN JUST HEAR ME CAN’T YOU??? lol

  3. Love the architecture. Very upbeat. Seems there is vibrant color everywhere you look there. The red flowers look like some sort of bromeliads.

  4. This looks like an interesting place.Glad you could pick up some horn beads.They are beautiful.I printed out some of your pictures to show in 4×6 and I know they would do well much bigger they are so sharp.Have fun love Mom

  5. Rebecca is right…the pix are AMAZING. You are the BEST with a camera….guess I’d have to say you are the best with whatever you tackle…art, jewelry, decorating or breeding CHOWS. You know I’m your biggest fan & am so thrilled you & Steve are able to do all of this traveling to such interesting places. Will be waiting for the next update. Luv ya!!

  6. Sandy, Your PICS are AMAZING!!! You and Steve are two lucky people to be able to see the beauty of Africa first-hand. Yes, I am so jealous!!! The Chowlets are three weeks old yesterday and I have sent pics on to Bernice for you to see when you arrive! I am NOT so sleep deprived now!
