Hello my friends!! I hope your April is going incredible and spring has sprung in your part of the country. I have been incredibly busy working on my own garden , doing damage control from our January wind storm. I’m finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel but it’s been quite the project.
I’m so excited to get back to my artwork and wanted to share with you 2 new designs I was incredibly honored to be asked to create this past year. The above logo I designed a year ago and it has been hidden from view all this time until the recent 2024 was completed last week.
The 2025 Chow Chow Club Inc. National Specialty will be held in the home state of the incredible Wright Brothers , Orville and Wilbur, so this became the theme for the 2025 Specialty. This second logo above I recently created for the upcoming Canadian Chow National in 2024 this fall. This one took some serious noodling and collaboration to wrap the theme into the location and I am thrilled with the results!!
The Big Nickel is a nine-metre (30 ft) replica of a 1951 Canadian Nickel, located at the grounds of the Dynamic Earth science museum in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, and is the world’s largest depiction of a coin. The smokestack in Sudbury is the worlds tallest smokestack. This area has a huge nickel mining industry so I incorporated all of the above into a cohesive logo for their National merchandise and trophies.
