ABOUT THIS ARTWORK -The original sketch I created of my handsome young chow boy “Vincent” while we were on a cross country trip back in the 1990’s, heading to some of his first shows which included the National Specialty. The photos (in the listing) are of Vinnie at around 8 months of age (the last photo at 18 months). Recently I discovered the drawing in my old sketch book and decided I really wanted to finish this as a painting.

The title, THAT TIME WE DANCED, refers to how in sync Vincent and I were in the ring….dancing a well-choreographed dance like Fred and Ginger. When we won it was just icing on the cake, because I adored showing and living with this wonderful dog. He still lives on in his great great-grandchildren and beyond! I will always have a dance saved for you dear Vinnie!!
