Hello friends, I can’t believe how fast this autumn has turned cold and wintry here in the Pacific NW and in many parts of Canada and the USA. As I stare out my studio window at shredded banana leaves in my garden from 65 mile an hour winds, I am already daydreaming of spring. I will admit I adore the rainy season, as I get so much accomplished in the studio, but wind….well that’s another thing when you have huge Douglas Firs looming over the house.
So let me tell you about California Puppy. She got her name from the original artwork I did years ago when the Chow National was in California. It was cute and quickly done for a fun match project but not as finely tuned as I would have liked it. I brought this little gem out for a face lift and she is now one of my all time faves!!
