HI Sandra,
I’m happy you arrived safely and have already been by the wonderful pandas! I guess if Tai Shan had to leave here at least he missed airport trouble with the snow storm…In the DC area we had a huge blizzard resulting in two feet of snow and power outages. Unfortunately, without power I had no computer access and the first thing I thought of was I would be missing out on all that you were doing 🙁 Even without communication, I was still with you. While the snow is quite beautiful, there is lots of work to be done too (we live in a townhouse with no garage…trying to figure out where to put all the snow to get two cars dug out is quite challenging). I am so glad I am now on track to see what is going on in your world. I just played catch-up…I love your gorgeous hotel and look forward to seeing all your pictures. (These “old” panda photos – newly viewed – are fabulous!) I hope the electricity doesn’t have more problems when another storm hits tomorrow so I can keep up with you! Please give panda hugs from me. Enjoy everything!
Lots of Love, Lois 🙂
So sorry you are having WiFi issues but I know you are having more fun than a pen full of pandas!
Love the pictures.
Hey! You must be really enjoying these Panda filled days, can’t wait to see all the pics. Hope everything is going well and you get some good computer access soon. ((Hugs))
Wow I didn’t know there were Red Pandas. What a beautiful animal. Looking forward to more of the same….Have a wonderful day and take care
Wow Sandy, Stunning Tattoo … Adorableee!

Hi Sandra: The book you created about your 2006 visit is an absolute treasure. The photos are wonderful and the information included is great. I also like the music you chose.
I can only imagine how excited you must be to have seen Bao Si again and be surrounded by all those adorable Giant Pandas. I don’t know if I could concentrate on any one thing because I would want to do everything at once.
I miss Tai Shan so much and at least take comfort in knowing that he seems to be adjusting well and has a good keeper. Someone said “Think about going to China and having Tai sit on your lap!” At least it made me smile a little.
Thanks so much for this travel blog and all the updates you are providing. We can all “experience” what you are by looking over your shoulder though the photos and videos.
By the way, nice tat.
