Our minimalist B and B room.  It was newly remodeled and very comfie for one nite.  Now that we have left Turkey I can now tell you we were at the Istanbul Hilton.!! OMG the security was insane.  You practically got frisked every time you turned around when we came and left the hotel.  Cab drivers had to open their trunks and have the underside of the taxi videotaped.  I’ll tell ya more later.  Gotta run and hit the wineries.. I just wanted you all to see where our overnite stay was

  1. I’m having a tough time picking my favorite pic , the hilltown, or the precious bulldog. I do think I agree with Love, and I would just have a glass of wine and leave the pig snout for the French!! Love, NM

  2. Hi Sandra,
I love the B & B! At least you have a double/queen? bed in your well manicured room! When Richard and I were in Paris (20 years ago!) our room had 2 singles! What is your bathroom like? We thought we had it pretty good to have a bathroom in our room instead of down the hall, but we had to hold the shower head to take a shower! I guess we were still young so those things didn’t matter too much…we just loved being in Paris 🙂 We didn’t get to go beyond the city while we were in France so I’m really looking forward to “traveling” with you!
Steve, how are you enjoying driving in a different country? Do you do that often? How are the signs? Do you have trouble getting to see the beautiful countryside while you’re driving?
Sandra, I love the cute ladybug girl picture 🙂 Oh, and I agree with the general consensus…a huge YUCK for the pig snots!!!
    Lots of Love, Lois 🙂

  3. What a wonderful B&B…but the pig snouts just don’t look too tasty to me. Think I would skip them and just enjoy my glass of wine 🙂
Your trip sounds soooo heavenly thus far….enjoy!

  4. I LOVE France! I hope to be able to go next year for 2 weeks if I can pull together the $$$$!
