INTERIOR OF FRONT YARD REMODEL

I am so excited!! My garden helper Felix came today and we put in a sweeping garden bed along the interior of my front yard (the real front garden is outside this fence) This is what my studio window looks out onto and I have been wanting to get this area landscaped for 10 years!!!! Finally I have a good start.

ANOTHER VIEW

The dark area against the back of the fence is the new bed which sweeps in undulating lines around the corner and stops at the front gate. I put in 3 new Rhodies last weekend and you can see the red Rhodie (Magentas plant) is in full bloom!! The vet tech who saved her life as a newborn gave me that plant shortly after Magenta’s birth.

The girls (Meg and Lillian) are so excited!! I took these shots the minute I let them out to check out the new digs! It’s still a mess out there but I wanted you to see a sort of “before” and “after” when the fresh woodchips and potted plants go in as well as 2 water features!!

  3. Can you deal with this weather??? UNREAL! They are predicting snow and 29 degree temps this weekend and next week!!! How are you ever going to keep Meg and Lillian out of two water features??? My Windy would have had her face planted in the water!!! She was a silly chow for trickling water!!!
