GOOD MORNING MY FRIENDS~~ I couldn’t sleep from a darned cough tonite so I decided it was best to just stay up and take a look through some of my pix. I have so much inspiration here I don’t know where to start, but I am sketching designs every day with my tea in our room.
Yesterday we stopped at a roadside market and I bought a pile of wood/ bone bead necklaces that I’m excited to take apart for the beads. I’ll post a photo of those later on today.
For the time being here are a few pix from Nxabega camp in Botswana……..Judy was our personal “butler” there and was an absolute joy to get to know. I got the sweetest note from her today~~~ I have some pix of her balancing a bowl on her head and dancing that is soooooooooooo cute but I can’t get it to load off the small camera. I may need to wait to show you that when I get home.
Steve and I look like we needed a serioius overhaul in this photo. AND those chin straps make us look like we have double chins to boot~~~~Safaris take any vane tendency right out of ya really fast..LOL~
Hover over the pix to see the titles and have a glorious day my friends~
Hi Sandra,
I love the little warthog. It’s funny you have captured him leaving. Good shot! hehehe. The shot of you and Steve and your “butler” is great. It shows how tough this trip is as opposed to spending a vacation at a spa or resort. My kind of trip, exploring nature. I would love to do a safari sometime. I’m sure your sketch books will be full of exciting and motivating designs. I can hardly wait to see how this trip has influenced your jewelry. Have fun and take care of yourself.
