December 31…New Years Eve relaxing at the villa

There is not much more I can add that the photos don’t already say.  A hot and steamy day made for a perfect excuse to do NOTHING….absolutely NOTHING but relax for the first day this entire holiday so far.

The little puppy you see in the photos is named Sawa (sp?) and was rescued by our host Annie, bless her heart.  She is a dear little puppy I’m guessing about 4 months old at most and has the most delightful sense of humor.  She knew we were dog people from the get go and kept trying to enter our villa via the fretwork in the wood fence.  All I could do is laugh and take more photos of this sweet girl.  Mom you would love her….she has sort of a doxie temperament but soft at the same time….and she talks…howls to get your attention which you will see in the pix below
