Our first day at Agate Beach

AGATE BEACH OREGON AUG 9 2010

Hopefully just looking at a few of my pix from yesterday tells the story of what a beautiful paradise we are in at Agate Beach Oregon!  You will find much more on my facebook profile page and I will be posting in the right column my Sandra Miller Studio page starting today too!

The tidepools here are phenomenal.  The pix below are from low tide last evening about 6:30, and I just came back from a 3 hour stroll early this morning loaded with hundreds more images!!! The beach is completely deserted!!!  I hope to be able to post a “sounds of the tidepools” video tomorrow so you can hear the wonderful clicks and sizzles that come from the living cliffs full of starfish and mussles and sealife at lowtide.

  1. Hi Kristin!! Yes, thats wet sand that has the most beautiful ripples in it!!! The patterns on this beach were wonderful!!

  2. Beautiful photography, Sandy. The picture that is 15th up from the bottom . . . what is that? I looks like rippled mud, is it?
