Don’t get caught with your plants down

My friends Frankie and Susan and I are known as the Three Marketeers around these parts…we haunt all the garden centers and farmers markets and pile the car to the brim with treasures wherever we go.

Today it was friggin cold and a few snowflakes fell but we braved the elements to shop for plants. Springs comes early in the Pacific NW and we dont want to ever get caught off guard  with our plants down!!

THE GARDEN CENTER WAS CALLED GARDEN FEVER

OK..I’m officially ready to plant that hellebore!! Where’s my 50 degrees we had last week??

Thanks so much Susan and Frankie!! The bakery was super yummy and the Thai soup was like comfort food on a cold day.  Can’t wait to do this again soon

  1. Looks like fun! I’m so jealous, Diana and I won’t even be able to see our grass until June the way things are going here!

  2. You may be cold now, but I doubt if that gorgeous hellebore would grow in Texas in the best of weather!! I am getting the bug to dig in my beds again soon. NM

  3. Hey Jan…now it’s OUR turn to catch up. Frankie, Susan and I hadn’t seen one another since ….hmmmmmm I think it was early October???? OMG that’s BAD..

We need coffee/plant outing!! I need to go out and see if my hellebores are even up. Thanks for stopping in Jan!!!

  4. Hi Sandy,
It must be that time again- I stepped outside thinking I might clean up a bed or 2 after the recent storms – then the snow began and I thought better of it. I better check and see if any of my hellebores are showing signs of blooming! Jan
