This autumn simply flew by with a taste of fall still lingering in the air here in Portland Oregon. It is chilly and soggy but we love this weather. Ihana really could do without the wet paws though, which inspired the first of my HAIKU by Ihana series of Illustrations (see below)

A couple of weeks ago we took a day trip to Astoria Oregon as it had been far too long since we visited the coast. Perfect weather in the 50s and sun! Above was my favorite photo of the day which pretty much summed up how light all of our hearts are when we are at the beach. Even Fun Guy the Roaming Chow Gnome approved of his first road trip!
A little sand in the britches and salty kisses are Vitamin Sea for the heart and soul!
