One of the fun perks of “LIKE”ing my studio FACEBOOK PAGE is that you get in on some impromptu specials and events that I only announce on that page. Recently I put out this call in the screenshot below which was filled in about 10 minutes! To make a long story short, I finished the first of these 3 special portraits which is a beautiful 19 year old BALINESE CAT named DALI, owned by Amy Belcher (keep scrolling)

Amy took a fresh batch of photos of Dali for me to work from, and once I got going on the painting it became immediately apparent that this kitty was STUNNING in blue…..so that is exactly the way I kept her. This wonderful cat portrait will be available at my Zazzle store later this week and I will be starting on the next portrait in the series of 3 this week too!!
