As far as I am concerned, May is the best month of the year!! Not only are all my plant friends coming back to visit me but my birthday is mid month (May 12) too!! I adore the transition from cool and crisp nights to days that warm up to almost hot at times….although in Portland OR. this has been a challenging springtime with rain rain rain every day for months. Unseasonably cold temps have set the garden behind by 3-4 weeks at least

Since my return from Italy I have been working on a number of things in the studio, including separating my panda/endangered species stores at Zazzle from my canine related merchandise. The new store specifically for Chow items is called “PURPLE SMOOCHES” and will also be linked to THE BAMBOO TEAHOUSE. All items put into a cart from both stores can be purchased during a single checkout. Right now PURPLE SMOOCHES is just being built so I will let you know when the site is loaded with goodies. The few items on the shelves can be purchased right now and are brand new designs!!!
