EVOLUTION OF A CUSTOM PORTRAIT …. and pendants

“MY GIRL” a recent custom portrait of “Sassy” created for Rhonda Prince

Hello friends!  I hope you are all doing well heading into this Memorial Day Weekend!  This portrait commission you see above I finished recently and wanted to share a little bit about my unique painting process through a short video I did created below.  This is a condensed version as the actual painting took a couple of weeks to complete . Be sure to turn your volume on if you can

Rhonda also requested a custom portrait pendant which turned out so pretty!!  She can hold Sassy close to her heart every time she wears it, and the pendant is light as a feather too!!   I will be listing more of my art on jewelry very soon in the store and this “MY GIRL” design (plus many more new designs) are now available in my ZAZZLE BOUTIQUE on art cards, T’s , and mugs

And below is a series of pendants which sold out in one day when I posted them on my Facebook wall Tuesday, but I wanted you all to see how cute they turned out!!  This LIMITED EDITION of 10 fused glass pendants surrounded in copper tone bezels were inspired by a dear panda boy  who is very special to a lot of fans here and in China..heck his fan club extends worldwide

The inspiration photos for this cheerful design  came from my trip to DC in 2008 for Tai Shans 3rd birthday bash and some poppy shots from my garden.  A perfect fusion of orange, black and white pandaness!!

Below is an Iphone video I did yesterday showing how cute this whole batch of pendants looked carded up and ready to go to their adoptive homes today.   Thank you all so much for the incredible reception to this limited edition.  More “ice cube” style pendants are on the way !

And a few items are now available with the SICHUAN NIRVANA design in the ZAZZLE BOUTIQUE

Have a fun and safe holiday weekend everyone!!!!
