CREAM OF THE CROP 2010 chow poster/calendar by electra_cute
NEW CALENDARS FOR 2010 DONE IN A CHINESE “SCROLL” STYLE TO FIT NARROW PLACES
Wowie Zowie….the fun never stops around here.. Just when I think I have a breather I take on something new to add to the party I call LIFE…my muses are persistent thats for sure. I am always glad to have inspiration knocking down my door vs. the alternative…the dreaded “artistic block” …(I say that with a whisper..lol!)
Above is a video I just finished to go with an early Xmas prezzie I made for Steve . I published a hardcover book of our Provence France trip with our best photos and put it to music in this video as well. ENJOY!!!!

Hey Elise!! how goes it??? Wasn’t that Alvin song a hoot. It’s amazing what you can find in an ITunes search with the word “france”!!!
Marius my friend!!! I miss your face around here!! You must be as crazy busy as I am. Hey how about a rendevous in Rome!!!??? Steve and I are going in May …partly his Biz trip but also a vacation. I know it’s stil far for you but we will be on the right side of the pond anyway!! LOL
Jan THANK YOU so very much for the sweet comments about the photography from this trip!! Coming from you it is quite the compliment!!!! (you all need to see Jans art…check out these woodcarvings!!

Ichi…Jan I’m looking at precious Ichi (Jans chow) who lived to 17
You all have an absolutely scrumptious holiday!!!!
I swear, Girlfriend…as well as I know you, your artistry never fails to amaze–and inspire–me!!!!
I just re-watched the video–this time for fun! I love the colors you never fail to include in your photos. (I think my favorites are the big bunch of lavender with the sunflower stuck right in the middle and the one with the branch of 3 persimmons.) THEN…you stick in a black & white, which requires me to look for the shapes, the textures, and the composition. I am also intrigued with the composites you assemble into one image…how they always balance even when the subject matters are diverse.
This video is a wonderful lesson in the elements of art as well as being just plain wonderful to look at. It is always so much more enjoyable to see the photos of someone you know that to just look at plain, generic photos taken of “anyplace.”
Wishing you, Steve, and “the Girls” a very, very merry, merry Christmas as well as a glorious 2010!!!
Love the French escapade, looks like you two had fun.
NEXT time your up here you WILL catch up with me !
Have a great Chismas break, and well speak in the NEW YEAR,
Marius
