Through my artwork and the Dog in the Kitchen project, I love blending creativity, storytelling, and a touch of everyday magic.

  1. Seeing your pictures, I am diffinately getting the travel bug again. Thought I had it all out of my system, but I don’t think so now. Hubby has been EVERYWHERE! He has spent a lot of time in Japan, Middle East, just all over. I’m really thinking I would like to see more of the world while I can still enjoy it. After seeing your post about Hong Kong, and hearing Pat talk about it, sounds like I just might LOVE IT!!!

  2. Hey Yvette!!! Thanks for your comments!! I HIGHLY recommend Hong Kong!!!! It was so awesome and such a mix of old and new. Something for everyone. It was quite expensive compared to mainland China but then again it was very “designer” oriented. The handcrafts etc were mostly on the mainland but we still scouted out lots of treasures at a steal!

Japan is also another MUST DO. We came in through the Tokyo (Narita) airport and got the chance to do some airport shopping at least and a sushi fix! I wanted to stay over Sooooooooo bad…I was a serious whiner!! I love Tokyo!!!!!! If you ever go I can give you lots of great suggestions.

    BIG HUGS to ya girlfriend

  3. Sandy, I just told my husband that he has to take me to Hong Kong. He has been. The skyline looks amazing. I am so envious. You have had such an amazing trip. I did the Europe and West Indies thing. But I have never done Japan, etc. Think that is what I would like to do next because of your travels. Just looks too cool.
