Festive Lights- Lantern Festival in Chengdu

The Chengdu Lantern Festival is an annual celebration in Chengdu, China, marking the end of the Chinese New Year festivities. It typically occurs on the 15th day of the first lunar month. That would be Saturday February 24th, 2024. The festival is renowned for its vibrant display of traditional lanterns, illuminating parks and streets.

People gather to enjoy cultural performances, traditional foods, and the release of sky lanterns. The event symbolizes the hope for a bright and prosperous future.
