Wow our internet connection is terrible today and we really need to get on the road to Cassis which is on the coast. We only have today and tomorrow morning to spend there so I think I’ll just post a few pix with little annotation for now. I tried 5 times /2 hours of frustration and decided it’s best to wait till the connection improves (hopefully) at our new B and B.
The photos are of our shopping excursion in Saint Remy’s Wednesday market..AWESOME…and the Pont Du Gard which is the oldest and most perfect example of a Roman aquaduct. Almost like the Cistern in Istanbul but above ground. It was a highlight of the daY. wILL POST MORE LATER IN THE DAY!!
Diana, the last of Vinnies ashes are now by this fountain…the lion on the fountain seemed a good sign this was the place to put them. Van Gogh would have spent a lot of time at this place, painting and creating
