Happy St. Patricks Day all!!!

I had quite the productive weekend and am excited to share some news! Well first I’ll let you see some of my favorite pix from the trip which were at the Floating Market just outside of Bangkok. Diana’s pix will be added later. The first images you will see are of a Temple and the Cat Palace …followed by 2 pages of very colorful Floating market photos.

First photo taken with my new Canon 40D

I am pretty much jumping out of my skin over this next news. After 3 years of an incredible experience of learning about my Canon Rebel XT DSLR camera, and investing in a few outstanding lenses in planning for an eventual camera upgrade…….I bit the bullet on Saturday and purchased the CANON 40D camera to add to my arsenal!!

The weather has been a bit too rainy to take it outside but I did manage between sprinkles to nab the photo above. This is exactly the way it came off the camera set on manual. The plant is my tradescantia coming up from a pot in the garden. The colors are just gorgous and I think the camera caught them perfectly. The depth of field so far with this camera is extraordinary.

Another fun project over the weekend was to finish a few pendants!!! Woo Hoo!! More on those in the next post!!!

My special girl Meg, taken with the 40D
